The materials go into the powder separator along with the air flow from the air feeding pipe and reach the upper part of the machine from the gap between the internal and external cone. The materials change the moving direction through the countervan and form rotary air flow and go into the rotor. Under the joint effect of the rotary air flow and the rotation of the rotor, the rotor will separate the materials. The qualified materials (fine powders) go inside the rotor along with the air flow and are discharged from the air outlet and gathered by the next dust collection equipment; and the unqualified materials (coarse powders) will be gathered by the inner cone of the powder separator and sent back the to the grinding mill through the returning conveyor for re-grinding.
